X-Factor runner-up Ray Quinn will join the cast of
Grease this summer. Quinn, who came in second to Leona Lewis on the show and has since released the platinum album
Doing It My Way and appeared on popular soap
Brookside, will take on the role of Doody beginning June 16 at the Piccadilly Theatre.

On the same day, Nicola Brazil joins the cast as Sandy, replacing Susan McFadden. Brazil, who made her West End debut in

Grease is the Word winner Danny Bayne as Danny.
Also joining the cast on June 16 is Stuart Ramsay as Kenickie, Natalie Langston as Rizzo, Kristofer Harding as Roger, Bennett Andrews as Sonny, Emily Bull as Frenchy, Laura Wilson as Jan, Emma Stephens as Marty, Jason Capewell as Vince and Teen Angel, Benjamin Ibbott as Eugene, Emma Green as Patty, Chloe Brooks as Miss Lynch and Kristina Macmillan as Cha Cha.
