Steve Pemberton is famous for being very funny and very creepy as a member of TV’s celebrated comedy troupe The League of Gentlemen. Now the star has a chance to show a somewhat gentler side to his comic persona too, as he takes over as Man in Chair from Bob Martin this week in the West End’s The Drowsy Chaperone. Pemberton presides over the antics of Elaine Paige and Summer Strallen at the Novello Theatre.
